The ratio of Educators to children differs depending on the program.
For infants and toddlers there are 4 Educators for 12 children and a 1:4 ratio is maintained at all times.
For 3-5 year olds there are 4 Educators for 25 children and a 1:8 ratio is maintained at all times.
For Preschool there are 2 Educators for 20 children.
Occasionally additional staff are employed to support children with additional needs.
While we do not guarantee that children will move from infants to toddlers to 3-5’s, we do everything we can to make that happen. It is bound by regulation and an exemption is at the discretion of Licensing and we may need your support to advocate for your child's move.
Private tours are given to families when a space is being offered to them. We refrain from offering public tours to avoid disruption to our educators, children, and ongoing programs that may occur with an excessive number of tours.

It is the aim of the SRCC to be inclusive.
It is recognized however, if a child is enrolled and deemed to require extra support to safely participate in one of our programs while our dedicated supported space is full, the SRCC reserves the right to terminate services with appropriate notice in the event that the Centre is unable to accommodate the child’s needs or family circumstances.
